Angular Contact Ball Bearings

Angular contact ball bearings consist of an inner and outer ring with raceways and shoulders designed to a set geometry (angle), creating a set contact angle with the balls to support a combination of radial and (one directional) axial loading. Higher contact angles provide more axial load capacity and bearings are often mounted in sets allowing them to handle axial loading from two directions.

Angular contact ball bearings are made in single or double row ball sets, and are commonly used in automotive applications, construction equipment, pumps, magnetic motors and paper mill machines.
